Social Distancing - Please behave yourselves.

We need your help with this.

It’s been a long time since events have been able to run, and we still can’t bring you a social distancing free event, but we can bring you music, rum and the sense of togetherness that we all love.

We want you to enjoy yourselves safely and remind you that although you may not be concerned about social distancing – others in attendance may be, so are we.

As event organisers we must ensure that we run a safe event and we can only do this if you help us by follow the rules we set out, if you don’t follow the rules – we won’t be able to host a great event.

If guidelines and rules are not followed, the music will be stopped and you may be required to leave for the safety and enjoyment of others.

We will not know the full extent of the measures we need to introduce until later this week… but once we know – we’ll share with you via email and our social media pages.

1. When you Arrive

We’ve tried to make it as smooth and hassle free as possible, but as with everywhere these days, there’s some things which we’ll need you to do…

  • Sanitise your hands before entering.
  • One member of your group will be asked to come to register.
  • Everyone else in your group must scan the QR codes and register themselves for Track & Trace.

2. Whilst at your Table

We’ve aimed to give each table plenty of space and tables will be situated more than 2 meters apart from each other. You can order drinks using your mobile telephone.

  • Please ensure you keep within the marked box around your table at all times, indoor this will be gaffer tape stuck to the carpet, outdoor it will be lines sprayed on the ground.
  • You must wear a mask if you are standing at any time, even if you are at your table.

3. Moving Around the Venue

It’s important we maintain social distancing at all times and you’ll no doubt need to walk about sometime…

  • The ground is uneven, so take care as you move about and wear appropriate footwear.
  • Follow the 1-way systems, there will be signs and arrows showing you the way.
  • Stick to the defined walkways – these are logs on the ground, or lines… please don’t take shortcuts past other people’s tables.
  • You must always wear a mask while moving around the venue.

4. Toilets

There are two areas which include toilets, both of which include a 1-way system.

  • For men, there is a urinal with a clearly marked entrance and exit, please ensure you keep a safe distance from the person in front if there is a queue, there are 2 metre markers to help with this. It is open air and can accommodate a maximum of two users at a time.
  • For the main toilets (portaloo’s) please queue safely following the signage.
  • Sanitation is available at both set of toilets, including wipes.
  • For your own safety, please allow time for the portaloo’s to air before entering – bungee cords will hold the doors open to allow ventilation between users.

5. Smoking Area

The smoking area is situated behind the toilets and has been configured to be socially distant.

  • Please follow the relevant signage.
  • Socially distant markers are present to help you maintain your distance.
